At last...

Yes, for anyone who cares, I'm finally writing again. I know it's been too long and I'll probably have to catch up in bits and pieces but I do want to catch up a bit and get a few things down before I forget them!

Christmas. We had a great one! We had a lot of fun at family parties, the kids got some fun gifts and I got a stereo! I've been wanting one for a long time and finally found one that was small enough to suit be, would dock and play my I-Pod and was reasonably priced. Now I can't believe I waited so long. Text-guy only wanted the biggest Bumble Bee transformer Santa could find. Well, Santa found a 21" one and it was a hit. He got a small one for his birthday 4 days before Christmas and so he thought that was all there was so he was really pleased on Christmas morning. Sally got some fun electronic toys she had been wanting and a Nintendo DS Lite which she loves! Finally we don't have to hear her complain about not having her own game system! Cousin Mickey came home from Connecticut and was here for a week so that made it fun too. It was just a great year all the way around.

Here's Text-guy with Uncle Santa

For Text-guy's birthday on the 21st he just wanted to go to the Las Vegas bowl again to watch BYU play UCLA. Well, we decided to make a family trip out of it so we all went as far as Mesquite and got a room there. Bri-guy and Text-guy went on down to Vegas for the game. Sally and I went out to eat with my cousin who lives in Mesquite and then went to a movie. We got back to the hotel just in time to watch the end of the game which was the game! It did not look good and BYU was playing rotten. By some grace in the last seconds we pulled out the win. It was pretty exciting. The guys stormed the field and Text-guy got pictures with several players and was flying high for the next few days. Here's a couple of pictures. Sorry, I don't know the players names but I know they are the important ones!

Somehow he managed this one with the trophy! Kind of cool!

I do know that this is the quarterback-Matt (or is it Max?) Allen

Well, I'm out of time for today but will write some more tomorrow! A little Billy to finish on... Hmm...How about..."....at times I feel I am wading into the river that is running to the promised land. In the middle of the night..."
